Design Creativity
Developing technologies encompasses almost every aspect of our lives. Our students will need to know what to do with it as they evolve with this technology-driven and problem-solving world. Therefore, researchers believe that critical- and creative- thinking skills are vital. This article suggests that critical- and creative-thinking skills include idea generation, reflective judgment, self-regulation, and attitudes and dispositions. The authors believe these skills can be taught. This study implies that when nurturing the development of these skills, it is important to start at the top with developing the creativity skills of teachers and then working down to the students. This article suggests a simple four-part process to help facilitate the development of these skills.
